becoming an airforce pilot

hello all,

Im looking at applying for the raaf as a pilot. I read on their website that there are two paths of entry.
1. direct entry straight out of school
2. study a degree and adfa then after completing the degree commencing your flight training.

My question is, are these the only two ways of getting in to start your flight training, or for applicants that are not direct entry straight out of high school who perhaps are 20yo's + is there an alternative way to get through as a direct entry and bypassing the degree studies at adfa?

All are welcome to have a say. Thanks for reading.

Slightly confused as to what you are asking. You have either the option to apply to go straight in to the RAAF to start officer/flying training, or go to ADFA and do a degree before you start flying.

There's a Flight Screening thread that runs for over 100 pages on this forum, I suggest you read that.

Considering that the maximum age for Direct Entry Pilot entry is 43 years what do you think?
