Policewoman sues garage owner who dialled 999 | Anglia - ITV News

Though to be fair even the Chief Constable has voiced his displeasure at her actions.

Hero MP Stops Speeding Car Going 8 Mph, Saves Countless Lives | The Duffel Blog
Belize 1989 - speed limit something like 15mph. One of the SACs with me was stopped by the RMPs using a newly acquired speed gun. Conversation went something like...

RMP "Do you know the speedlimit on camp?"

SAC "Yes it's 15 mph" (or what ever it was at the time)

RMP "Yes that's right - do know what speed you were doing?"

SAC "15 mph...?" (hopefully)

RMP "Yes you were doing exactly 15 mph - well done and carry on like that"
