Don't laugh! It has been done, however, boots for walking too, and away from the aircraft .

Following recent trends in the ADF, I think the only thing holding back the issue of those high-heeled boots is the fact that they would damage the aircraft floor!

Yep, there would be limitations in the MRH-90 with those, unless modded with suitable load spreaders.

Bizarre ins't it - those are the only boots cleared for use in Hawk and Tucano and there are no stocks - so much so that we have to wear something else around and about to preserve the flying ones for flying - and there they all are!

NutLoose & Background Noise, it's no surprise is it? Had 'our' hands forced to give our boots to Valley, only to find control restrictions with larger sizes of the alternate.. doh. At least on Civvie Street we can look elsewhere. Bloke in the pub said new ones were inbound (with the new cold weather jacket..) but you might have to wait a bit longer..

Those RAF boots are probably the ones that went down with the Atlantic Conveyor.

Must admit, if they ever raised that vessel, a lot of people would have to find some other excuses for where all that stuff went .....
