One for the Spotters...

I have spent the last couple of weeks clearing out my father-in-law's house and have found some amazing aviation artefacts.... Here is my starter for ten. I'll make a donation to the RAFBF if someone, within the first 20 posts, can correctly identify what this is ....

not in the best condition I agree! It has been in storage in a garage and time has not been too kind!

I do not know what it is, but here are some of my comments

The knobs appear to be facing down on the photo while the black box sits end fown on a rack on a floor. the tag as shown appears to be on a quick disconect removable module.

I suspect that the removeable module probably contains a changeable program of some sort
