RAF Marham Beanz !
Good to see Red Nose Day being supported by the Catering Team at Marham ... Hope those beans aren't on the breakfast menu tomorrow
The ‘bath of beans’ was the idea of Sgt Woollett’s fiancé, herself part of the Catering Team at RAF Marham
Well done to all who have stepped up to the cause today elsewhere in the RAF
Well played Jamie

fade to grey, indeed. That's the problem with many of these well-meaning charity fund appeals - you have no idea where your contribution will end up.
Will it help feed the starving? Possibly, but if food is sent, it will often end up in warehouses controlled by corrupt warlords who will then sell it. Even worse, if funds are sent they will probably end up in the Swiss bank account of some corrupt government politician.
Perhaps the Red Nose people might care to publish a complete balance sheet for 2012. How much was paid in - and where did it go? Until then, I'm reluctant to donate and would sooner donate to organisations such as the RNLI, H4H etc.
(Incidentally, CoffmanStarter, you'll note that a number of unpleasant posts have now been deleted. Thank you, whoever it was!).

2012 Comic Relief Accounts ...
Comic Relief Accounts 2012 PDF
Some granularity on funds distribution ... but still a good cause IMHO.

Beags you are quite right; if the Red Nose organization doesn't have it signed, sealed and delivered we shouldn't give them a penny.
But, if they do, it's a fantastic cause which desperately needs our support.
Oy Vey; what to do, what to do??
Maybe get back to aviation - its simpler!
