Probably not new news ... but a good shot of the new front office in the sim ... not unsurprising that it appears to be bog standard Airbus config by the looks of it

Seems a bit of a steep approach ... either that or the Sim Boss seen is hastily trying to reset the scenery

Royal Air Force crews set to fly the new Atlas A400M airlifter are to be trained by a joint venture company set up by Airbus Military and Thales UK.

Pic from the RAF A$$book Timeline Page ...

Presume they are 200' auto TFR judging by the view. In that case I admire their relaxed look.

Yeah. And the policemen are looking younger too!

Another thought, though. Isn't the instructor Michel Roux, Jr?

And if I press this button on the screen the stick in front of the pilot pokes him in the eye.

There is nothing like a terminal velocity dive to get the adrenaline pumping!

How very quaint and so last century. Maybe ancient devices such as C-130s use such an anachronism, but modern FBW aeroplanes most certainly do not.

Still nothing will replace the C-130.
Or, by that token, presumably the horse?

The view out of the window looks like a scene out of Stingray, at a quick glance.

And the "feel" feedback through the Side Stick/Controller is very realistic ... Or it was on the A320 Sim I was lucky enough to have an instruction ride in last year (LF seat).

My dear chap, one is referring to the stick type object supporting ones HUD in the said image, not the item one waves about between ones legs.

The position of the instructor's station seems to have been influenced by the 'Star Trek design school'.
