What is it?

OK, I'm a reasonably astute chap, but could someone tell me the name and model variant of this?

If any of you are Jedi and know the ser no, I'll be impressed.

Why am I asking? It's come up as a question in our corporate mag, and a friend and I (both ex-Army) have a pint riding on it...

Many thanks for the assistance...

Any ideas on the differences between the C4 and C5 variants? (I'm not really a spotter, honest!)
