I think the chaps ought to be congratulated for planning something to do with Typhoon that came off within one calendar year. I've been waiting for almost two decades for the damn thing to deliver!

The sole Russian aircraft carrier is reported to be going into a shipyard for a couple of years for upgrading.
So that should be the last we see of it. Even the Rissians have a low opinion of it. Looking at the mess Sevmash have made of the rebuilt Indian ship, I suspect we will all be dead before it puts to sea again.

Along with the standard exercise programme, there's also a chance to flog some more of BAES' wares to those who just might be able to afford them.

T'was merely banter old chap - and yes the FW part of Ellamy did pass me by - by about 30,000ft. Had they looked down just prior to going feet dry they'd have seen me waving! (Well - gesticulating rudely!)
