Bombs, Guns and Missiles

Hello All,

There are often new threads started discussing the relative merits of different aircraft types or bases that people have been intimate with during their time in the RAF. I wanted to put a bit of a different twist on this! Now seeing as one of the most important parts of the combat aircraft is the weapons hanging off it or fitted to it I was wondering if anyone had any feelings about the weapons they have used during their time?

I.e, for example the Red Top was with us until 1988 along side lots of much more modern weapons (for the time!) How did it perform, did people have faith in it? How did it compare to other weapons? Was it easy to use? Appreciate this threat might rule out people who don't fly anything that can fire anything... but hoping it might make some interesting discussion of drag up some good stories.

Has anyone got any Martel TVAT videos that they are willing to share.

Almost reliable, but when fired a good Nav would probably hit the target and have a good idea where he hit.
