You would at least think if they are regular stopping off points they could erect some earth blast walls to park them between...

Anyone know the location of the nearest oil well to Bastion?
Iran? The first well in Afghanistan isn't due to start producing until around October as far as I can tell.

with the amount of sewage and food waste that must be created on site, whats the possibility of generating methane on site and using that in some vehicles e.g. fork lifts?
