Tornado penknife keyring (Help)

Hi All, back in the 80s i used to do a lot of civil eng contract work at Warton whilst there i was given a small metal Tornado penknife keyring witch i carried around with me for the next 20 odd years, i then passed it on to my son who had his bag stolen on a train returning home from uni in Preston, the only thing that really upset him despite losing a hard drive, laptop etc was losing the Tornado penknife keyring, so i would love to replace for him, i am prepared to pay good money if anyone has one they wish to sell. thank you Sean.

ps, as my son has just graduated from uni with a B Eng 1st it would be great if i could get him one.

kind regards Sean.

Tornado Penknife

I have one here on my desk - Flat, about an inch long. Very sharp knife and bottle opener/screwdriver on the other side.

You can have it - I took it off my keyring as I am a frequent flyer. PM me your address and I'll jiffy it.

Regards

'ere, 'ere, 'ere, to all the above!
Every now and again a thread like this really lifts the spirits. Well done GR4, you are now PPRuNe Member of the Week, ... well you would be if PPRuNe had such an award, which it should, don't you think?

Keyring

Any chance of seeing a picture of the star of this thread? (ie the
keyring - not the donor!).

Bravo GR4yskull

All we need now is the news that the original tealeaf has been apprehended - preferably after crashing his car when distracted by a low-flying Tornado.

Glad it got there. Bit of history with it is that I got it around the time of the Royal Saudi Airforce buy of 48IDS Tornados (1993 ish) and used it for a while trimming the (hideous but the done thing at the time) spiral binding on Initial Provisioning submissions.

Should you wish to donate to a charity, the South Atlantic Medal Association would be my choice.

Best regards

In the FAQ it says: How do I attach a file to a post?

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.

On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page.

But i cant see a button labelled 'Manage Attachments, any ideas??

You need to upload the photo to Flickr or Photobucket and then link it in your post using the picture button (the one that looks like a sun above a mountain).
