Am a fully paid up member of the FPS, but can't for the life of me find the pension hotline number on the website.

Any steers greatly appreciated !

Cant see it anywhere. Might just be worth ringing them on 020 7820 9988 and asking. Any chance you could cut and paste the rest of this article? looks interesting.
