Episode 1

Crikey! Ian Hamilton sent me solo in a JP3 at Syerston in 1963 and I used to fly with Pete Jennings when he was leading his students on solo formation trips.

As another amazing coincidence I sent his son on his first solo in a Viking glider at Upavon - although I didn't know he was my first instructor's son at the time.

Ian Hamilton was my BFW Instructor on 312 APC, and a thoroughly nice bloke too.

Was this the series with Marcus L as one of the students? I've not had a chance to view the vids yet. He was a school friend. Often wondered what he went on to do. Cheers!
