Defence Force Chief David Hurley and Defence Minister Stephen Smith said they were still waiting for more details
FFS! Talk about micro management!

In the RAF this would have been kept at junior subordinate commander level. The Staish probably wouldn't even have been interested.

Times have changed! With a story about personnel from his station in the national media, I'm sure the Staish would be more than mildly interested.

Smile Media beat Up or ..

"Move along there, nothing to see here" ...just a typical evening in Kings Cross.
Don't think that the bloke with his trousers half way down his backside would be RAAF,he'd be laughed at too much.More likely one of the "actors" on that US television show 'Cops'

Precisely!

Vainly trying to compare a minor Sydney street skirmish in 2012 to a running battle involving thousands of servicemen and fatalities in the charged atmosphere of 1942 is the real beat-up here.

Not the media.

Absurd thread which should never have seen the light of day.

That's just pathetic trolling there Matt. Leave that garbage on the politics thread.
