RAF Tornado Models ?

HiMy Brother-in-law used to fly the Tornado, he was in 13 Squadron (not sure where he was based).Anyway, I wanted to get him some sort of Tornado model that also shows his Squadron emblem/colours etc.Do they exsist, or can anybody offer any assistance with pictures of 13 squadron aircraft so that I might paint it myself. Thanks in advance(and sorry if its in the wrong section)Dave

Google "Corgi Tornado 13 Sqn" for a 1:72 scale diecast metal model; you'll get a few results around £60.

I think if you look in the back of the magazines Flypast and Aeroplane you'll find all sorts of ad's for ready made models in specific colours, maybe even to order.

Not Authentic

Be aware that the Corgi Tonka Models are a GR-1 'done-up' to look like a GR-4.....

It will depend on how much attention to detail the recipient wants...

Depending on when he served on XIII, there could be significant external visual differences, e.g. GR1A - no guns; SLIR windows either side of the forward fuselage; SLIR blister under fuselage just forward of the spent links bay (which then contained the VCRs); better looking rear crew...

Try e-bay "toys and models" and put built into the search window. You never know.
