RAF Brize Norton - Potential Officer/Aircrew visit

Good evening,

I have been invited to attend one of Royal Air Force Brize Norton's Potential Officer/Aircrew day visits which includes a visit to 99 Squadron (C-17, Aircrew (Pilot & WSOp) and Engineers), A.T.C, Intel and many others.

Has anyone here been to one previously? It looks like a fantastic day and opportunity.

Thanks very much.

Nathan

Nathan,

No, I haven't, but if you fall into that category, don't hesitate to go. Any experience can only make you better informed and show you what's available. Go, ask questions and enjoy!

I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could

Thanks for both replies!

Like you said CM, its an opportunity that I shall not take for granted and make the most of.

P_N, Thanks for your comment - I'm not giving up just yet. I'm hanging in there, being patient and building on the skills that will hopefully improve my chances second time round.

One more thing, Nathan. I have seen some of PN's advice in the sticky here and would say listen to him.

Good afternoon all,

Just heard back from Royal Air Force Shawbury aswell in regards to a day visit. Hopefully within the next few weeks, I should be able to get another base visit down on the list.

I'm trying to get visits for different Aircraft WSOps - Brize Norton for FW and Shawbury/Benson/Odiham for Rotary.

Thanks.
