45(R) Squadron contact

Is there anyone posting here on 45(R) at Cranwell or knows someone on the unit?

If you want to PM me to find out why etc please feel free to do so.

Thanks.

As one of those who have contributed PMs on request, am I wrong to sense a bit of a let-down ?

Would Boxer42 like to tell us what he suckered us into, or would someone on 45(R) Sqn like to come on net to tell us what this is about ?

Al R,
Most probably shot at RAF Wittering between 1972 and 1976 when 45 Sqn was based there with 58 Sqn. It is possible it might be at RAF West Raynham where 45 Sqn reformed on the Hunter and remained for a few months before moving to Wittering.

That was 73/74 at wittering before the sqn split into two with 58 forming. My 1st posting, sadly not on film..... I was on a gun team about four ac along. Happy days on a great sqn under Wg Cdr Whitman! Never ever seen this before however clearly remember it being filmed. Thank you.

Boxer42 is an instructor with the ATC according to his profile. Standby for another crewroom full of cadets would be my guess. Does that still happen on 45 ?
