according to today's Times Netanyahu ordered an attack two years ago but the military refused - claimed it was likely to be illegal, have devastating consequences for Israel and that he was trying to rush it through without consulting everyone in the cabinet................

I suspect the Israeli military are more relaxed about the Iranians having an H bomb than they admit in public - it ensures a stand-off

I would imagine anyone in the world would be terrified of the Iranians getting their hands on an H-bomb.

An A-bomb would be bad enough....

and the Israelis................

Let them have a bomb because they already figured out what happens if they ever use or hand to a 3rd party.

The wish to have it as a deterrent.................after all doesn't ever nuclear power say that the reason they have it is to be as a deterred.
That is unless the politicians were lying ..........................OMG

Iranian agents arrested in Kenya

Two possible agents of Iran have been arrested in Kenya. They are believed to be members of Iran's al-Quds corps. The two persons were in possession of 15 kilograms of RDX.

Prior to their arrest on 19 June, the suspects had toured sites including the Israeli embassy in Nairobi and a golf course in the coastal city of Mombasa, as well as the British High Commission. The two men, apparently, planned to attack Israeli, American, British or Saudi Arabian targets inside Kenya.

The two possible Iranian agents were interrogated by Israeli agents.

Obviously, their aim was a bit of bunker busting.

aiming for both the High Commission AND the Golf Course suggests they meant to leave no stone unturned not to miss British diplomats - presumably they intended to hit some girly bar as well but that's a secret..........
