I mean no insult, but whenever I see 'RAFAT' I always think RAF 'Air Transport'.

Anyone know if they have 'frozen' the normal departures at the end of the season - I cannot see how else they can cope?

I do not have time to follow the team as closely as I did, so a summary of how this awful season has been handled in terms of planned/actual rotations at 'end of tour' would be appreciated.

Presumably some initial change was made after the loss of Jon.

Yes, Dave Davies stayed an extra year (4th consecutive) to cover the Red 8 position.

Has the cause of the malfunction been released to the public?

I only ask out of interest, having been flying in MB Mk11 seats until a year ago; quite similar in many ways I think (apart from the rocket bits).
