Lightning T5 XS422 in USA

As mentioned on the Thunder City thread, there is indeed a Lightning T5 being restored, hopefully to flight condition, in the USA. XS422 last flew in August 1987 when it was retired from ETPS and was subsequently struck off charge in 1988 with a total of only 2210 flying hours.

Details of the Anglo-American Lightning Organisation (AALO) can be found here: index

Frequent updates of the progress of the project can be followed on Facebook here: LightningXS422Restoration | Facebook

Some very nice, high quality photos of a Lightning F6 outside the ex-Wattisham QRA shed at Bruntingthorpe can be found on the Facebook site.
