Pakistan Top Gun vs Indian........

Just had to share this funny bit.........

"Now you are watching a real video of Indian aircrafts attack on Pakistan. Then Pakistani Air force defend that and destroy the Indian Air toys."

They just happen to have a camera on the radar guy, the 'ADF' officer, 2 cameras on the pilot, three cameras on the pilots running to their aircraft and closeups of the 'Indian Air Force' aircraft as they explode.......... looks like a Pakistani version of 'Top Gun'.

cheers,

-D John

Yep,

the locals probably liked the film, the PAF were made out to be pretty good, (not so good at catching SEAL teams in helicopters though)

cheers,

I love the way the good guys fly left-right and the baddies right-left.

I hope that this was a tongue-in-cheek p!sstake of Top Gun. If not, it's totally hilarious anyway.

All that was missing was standing on an aircraft carrier with 'Mission Over' in the background really.

More than Top Gun

I don'y know why, but all I can think of when I hear those accents is Peter Sellers about to turn up with a false moustache

It has "Recruiting Film" stamped all over it. The RAF used to produce loads of crap like this for training and recruiting films.

At least in my day they used real aircraft and real people. It would seem from this example that the only thing affordable is a flight sim!

Note also the brisk wind right up the jetpipe on take off

Pak - a failed state in dire need of a reality check. The UK and US will give money so that it can sponsor terrorism. The vid is for local consumption.

Pakistan - a state with a great rivalry with India but one that is stuck well in the past fighting "little political" battles within itself while India has moved on and is progressing ahead economically that it will have won the rivalry with Pakistan without fighting any actual military battles.

yet we achieved nuclear status (regardless of how, fact is we are), is the largest contributors to UN peace keeping force and is doing well enough with less than 5% of the population actually paying taxes, is expanding the military (since most are chinese inductions, military aid from the US can NOT be used to buy chinese equipment)

i'd say we are doing ok...

you havnt been to india have you? there are 2 sides to every story. go and see for yourself since you wont believe a word a pakistani tells about india lol

PS

i will never deny that if the US or even India attacks us, the military will be decimated within 4 weeks, but we wont be as forgiving as the vietnamese were to the US.

but then again, if are to go down, why not fire the first nuke right.

and thats exactly why the west or india will never go to war with pakistan.

I have actually been to India, all be it a while ago.

Nuclear armed while the civilian population lives in poverty.

"is doing well enough with less than 5% of the population actually paying taxes,"
Sounds like accepting mediocrity to me - doing "well enough" is resting on your laurels to stay where you are at currently as opposed to striving for better. But that is my HO.

Re the UN, well I have such a low opinion of the UN so providing a high level of troops to PK ops doesn't wash with me. Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, by cutting out all the bureaucracy did more for immunization in a short time and really showed up the UN and the UN building of empires.

"expanding the military", no doubt there, considering the Military runs the country. Everyone else just seems to live at the low end of the scale and a low quality of life.

So if your military is so good and big with all the latest toys, why does Australia have to provide basic support during your floods ? Op Assist 1 and Assist 11, Helicopter support, Medical support and Water Purification / Food Distribution.

I also saw on a recent report the Pakistan President visiting flooded communities the other day, the same ones who complained about a lack of support the last time it flooded in the last couple of years. Same complaints, lack of shelter, water, food. Sometimes the simplest things are the easiest to achieve, small water purification plants, miniature solar energy set up that also produces water at the same time as Electricity - these things are NOT expensive but greatly improve quality of life.

Years ago, a relative of mine visited India and the region and his comment on his return was that instead of pouring millions of $$ in aid into the region they would be better off giving everyone a Wheelbarrow, shovel, fork and a rake !!!

However, I am OPEN MINDED so please enlighten me as to why I am wrong and India is not leaving Pakistan for dead.

by well enough i meant getting by and relying less and less on foreign aid. there is enough money in the country to pay off all the debt the country has, but only if the people want to.

of course we want to progress and we are. we have just been made famous for all the wrong reasons. you can read about the economics on the internet, its all there

the UN thing as an example.

we lack in helicopters period. its no big secret. most of our equipment is busy on the afghan border providing support to combat ops and trying to control the inflow and outflow of people. the australians are providing medical specialists.

the things you mentioned are so easy to say but not as easy to implement. there is a power shortage in the entire country, not just the flood affected areas. i am sitting in the capital and theres been no power here for half the night. its not because there isnt enough production capacity, its because of politics.

btw they were provided with everything, i know because i went out there to hand out the things myself. now if they decide its in their interest to sell the stuff and make money off it, its not our fault

the security in the country isnt as bad as the media makes it out to be. i mean come on, i just attended an open concert with american jazz band Ari Roland and Quartet playing.

Clearly fake

If this was real there would be a song and dance number at the end. I saw song, no dance, therefore fake.

"i will never deny that if the US or even India attacks us, the military will be decimated within 4 weeks, but we wont be as forgiving as the vietnamese were to the US."

4 weeks ???

And do you really think the US attack you ? What do you have that the US really wants to attack you over ? Unless of course you really go over to supporting the other side in an OVERT way as opposed to how you are currently doing it in a clandestine way like you at the moment which is hedging your bets and taking money from the US at the same time as hindering them.

Also, you better turn on your radar first otherwise you might not actually know they are invading . You can't fight an enemy if you don't know they are there.

Oh, and of course close the big wide open hole in your defenses that let's a foreign military power in and out without any retaliation - or before you actually knew they had been and gone
