Why does this seem like a loose copy of the earlier thread, "Tailored RAF shirts for a wedding"?
Are you off to the same wedding or something?

Anyhow, you'll probably get the answers in the other thread.

Tailored RAF Underpants for a wedding

Gentlemen,

I'm looking for nicely tailored RAF blue underpants to wear with No 1 dress instead of the cheap and nasty issued ones.

The army seem to go in for this sort of thing while we put up with underpants made by the very cheapest bidder...

Does anyone know a good tailor?

thanks,

EOSM37

RAF shreddies were in a class of ther own. M&S J Lewis et al have never come close to emulating this classic item (for the use of) underwear

Class indeed and versatile. Apart from their primary use could be worn as head sun protection and when necessary as filters.

RAF shreds are specially tailored... They allow more room for the larger gonads than you're average grunt, fish head or bootie possess... and you should see the enormous size of the "pouch" on a Rockape's shreds...

The 'tactical' ones the Army issued were called 'Fogups' = Filthy Olive Green Underpants!

Welcome to RAF Collection

How appropriate to have 'per Ardua ad Astra' on the waistband.....

"You'll indeed be seeing stars after my 'hardness', my sweet!"

Not sure about the rolled up pair of aircrew socks maety-boy has stuffed down the front though....

Just in case you wish the matching socks, hankie, braces and cufflinks (not forgetting your waistcoat and bow tie for the evening do) then here is your answer.

Lots of stuff for the FAA as well ....

I thought that RAF briefs were supposed to be in four colours. Standards!

I found an excellent purveyor of specialist clothing whilst working in Amsterdam a few years ago:

www.absolutedanny.com

They'll sort you out.
