I was at a show at the Lincolnshire showground this weekend (until my wife had a mishap and ended up in hospital (long story) but of course the showground is just to the South of Scampton.
Saturday morning, we were treated to what I assume was a practice session by the Red Arrows, and to a man, the 15,000 or so crowd stopped whatever they were doing , and ooh'd and ahhh'd their way through the display.

Poignant, impressive and should anyone have to ask why, the answer is because British is STILL the best.

Thanks team.

On a day out, your wife ended up in hospital. But the thing that you really remebered was the Reds flying over!

A total aviation person if I ever did meet one!

(I just hope your wife doesn't read PPRuNe)

no Reds at Morecambe on Sunday. Too windy - and visibility probably too grotty anyway, Couldn't really see across the bay
