A nice change from Chinooks

Or another thank you for flying over/past thread

Crossing a footbridge over the A3 this afternoon back into Petersfield on my run I looked to the north and saw a Hercules flying towards me, nice and low*, along the road before it turned off in the direction of Winchester on the A272 as far as I could tell.

We're very used to Chinooks round here so it made a nice change. Thanks chaps (and chapesses perhaps), cheered me up no end as I continued up the hill with a big grin on my face.

(* By low I mean well above the minimum limits as set out in all the relevant rules and regulations and not in anyway frightening livestock, swooping or plunging. So there.)

I take it you are fully familiar with those low flying limits and have had your eyes calibrated so that you could gauge their height exactly?

Did you use eyeliner?

COL's wokka mate came past here last night and only achived a level of 'moderate' interest from the kids rabbit. The rabbit was wearing hi-vis as well, can't be too careful you know.
