Is Taranis flying yet? It was originally scheduled to start flying this year.

And BAE do some UAV tests from Barrow - not so far from Kendal

Probably the Vulcan, climbing out from Windermere air show.

It was displaying at about 5.00pm.

With it climbing, its wings prob looked smaller, and fuselage longer...

Air show was Sat and Sun.

Think the Vulcan was only there on the Sat.

No, TARANIS is not flying yet; and if it ever does it will be in Woomera Australia. As an aside, SDSR cancelled the Deep and Persistent Offensive Capability (DPOC) which TARANIS was aiming at, so I doubt it will ever fly without a firm requirement for it.

So in sum, you have more chance of seeing this flying:

In fact, was this it?

Cuddles,

Vulcan XH558 at Windermere Air Festival on Saturday.

The Vulcan has caused confusion in the past.
