Exclamation Official British Armed Forces Aircrew Eyesight requirements - Sticky

Mods/Admin,

If this could be made as a Sticky thread I would appreciate it.

This is the Official British Air Forces - Military Aircrew eyesight requirements thread as found on AOP website.

This is subject to change at any time if nesseccary by the RAF/FAA or AAC.
If in doubt visit your local AFCO and ask for the Ophthalmic Supplement which can be filled out by your Optician.

Armed Forces

You will need PDF (Adobe) to view this.

Any updates from the Armed Forces will be made via AOP and they will post the new requirements on their website.

The first part of the eye test is to realise that whilst the page directs you to look at the left of your screen, the information is actually on the right

No stickies, sorry. We turn down a great many and we have decided that there will be no more until available room allows it.

Each link is horrifically out of date, though. The RN's download is the standard from 09, the Army's 06 and the RAF's 07.

There have been at least 2 revisions of the RAF's standards since then, no doubt the same with the others.
