Unhappy Vale Lieutenant Tony Hill RAN

Tony's illness has been discussed on other threads, but he took his final cat shot at 1310EST Sunday 1st May 2011 in Sydney, NSW. Janine and family were at his side, the sad loss of another fine helicopter pilot and all round Good Guy.

The funeral is expected to be on Friday 6th May, I'll post details when they are confirmed.

RIP Hurls

He was one of the good guys....sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with the family...and friends. I'll pass the word to some that were close to him all those years ago.

Despite the tragedy of the situation his immediate family describe the day as "fantastic". Over 400 people crowded into the GI chapel. Standing room only - some were even down below in the foyer and couldn't actually see proceedings.
