Nah, there's always this one with 4 stripes:

New boss takes over RAF base (From The Oxford Times)

Not sure how much flying the old boy gets these days, though?

Oh god now I feel old! Dom Stamp was a junior Co when I was at Lyneham.

XS713 'C' is supposed to be going to the IWM at Duxford. I guess she'll be the last to fly.

Last Dom to fly??

There is also the current RW Gpt Capt who's, when firstly as a Sqn Ldr at HQ STC, name decoded as "Doom Trout" through the "CHOtS" spell checker???

£5 donation to H4H for the first person to guess who I am referring to.

I know what you mean.
The outgoing staish and I were Fg Offs together going through the VC10 OCU. His career went rather better than mine! Actually - it's more accurate to say a LOT better.

That'll be a little difficult. XS713 was dismantled during the last 12 months. Bits of her are in the 55Sqn crew room.

XS727 'D' was slated for Duxford, but now appears on the for sale list, so it looks like XS709 'M' is the only one being preserved at present.
