F111 crash reports

After a link for accident report involving two Australian F111s. The first was at Tenterfeild in April 87 and the other was at Guyra in September 93. I remember reading these years ago . Any info would be great.

Adf-serials

Look in the top right hand column of TAB "RAAF Series 3" 'RAAF A8 General Dynamics F111C/G & RF111C'

Welcome to ADF Serials

ADF Serials Message Board -> F111 Crash Reports

"The Guyra crash in '93 was distraction/disorientation at night during the recovery from a loft attack on a simulated target. Unsure of the previous one at Tenterfield, but it could have been something similar."

There were OZ TV documentaries (probably ABC) about at least one accident when RAAF cause was disputed by families. Perhaps that is an avenue to explore.

Thanks Spaz, yer Ive seen that doco on the Guyra crash. Very interesting. Im quite familiar with both crashes and have recently visited both crash sites in NSW. I really want to get hold of the RAAF official report if it was ever released to the public.

May they all rest in peace no matter what the cause, who to blame and the circumstances that led to the incident, management, training and supervision at the time. The Nowra (86), Tenterfield (87), Guyra (93) and Malaysian (99) accidents saw the tragic death of a number of fellow F-111 aircrew who I had the pleasure of serving with in the same squadron.
