Golden Grove, aka 'Gelli Aur'

Doesn anyone have any information.... or know where I could get information... about the use of the Golden Grove estate near Llandeilo in Wales by the RAF during WW2 ? It's also known by it's Welsh name of Gelli Aur. The only references I can find are about its use by the USAF, but the RAF were there for sure.... both my parents were there in 1943 or thereabouts.

It is now an agricultural college and maybe if you phoned them they would have a "history" info page to send you?

You might want to try googling "UK Urban Exploration" and then asking in there; those guys get around a bit.

Is it possible that an RAF presence was for liaison purposes or to make it 'officially' an RAF station like RAF Lakenheath.
