So there we were in the circuit at EGWC with Bloggsie mastering the intricacies of the transition from initial climb to level flight. On frequency appears "Spitfire 96" advising us he's five miles east of us at 3,000ft. Bloggsie's lookout magically improves. "Look, Sir, there he is". From left to right, arcing past us against a halcyon summer sky, the most beautiful sight we've seen all day. A quick exchange on the RT to wish him well and he is gone.
