In Memory of Lt Sean Krueger - USCG

It is with heavy heart I learnt of the loss of Sean in a tragic accident on Wed 7 Jul. He served with UK forces on the personnel exchange programme and some Pruners may have had the pleasure to serve alongside him.
Deepest sympathies are with his family, friends and colleagues.

Below are links to the announcements.

Met Sean many times whilst he was on exchange with 771 NAS, incredibly sad news; he was a true Gent and brilliant ambassador for the USCG. RIP shipmate.

I had the pleasure of flying with Sean at 771 NAS - only the once, during his Sea King CTT; he was every bit the consummate professional, thoroughly prepared with an easy going manner and a great set of hands.

Sean went on to demonstrate all these attributes in spades during the incredibly difficult rescue from the Spanish fishing vessel 'Pesca Verdes Tres’ 150 NM SW of Scilly on a horrendously dark and stormy night in Nov 2008.

A great guy, a credit to his family and the USCG - his loss is a sad one for the whole SAR community. Heartfelt sympathies are with his family, friends and colleagues.
