Perhaps we should do the same with the England footie team. That way at least the RAF would win the Inter Services Cup every year ..... or not!

Do civilians still warrant a salute ? What are the rules regarding saluting nowadays? I was taught that if in uniform then you saluted a civilian... is that still the case?

Let us not forget that freddie Trueman was a Leading Air Craftsman, but earned it and he did his 2 years.
