Must take a trip there some day but Im afraid even though Ive 2 weeks sick leave cant go anywhere, cant even drive never mind swing a big lens around or more imortantly, fly!!!

Hope to be back in action soon,

Cheers,
Pat.

P.S: Gutted bout them GR9's after that ASHTAM wash issued!! They were already at low level when the airspace closed and were RTB!!

Ahhh the Puma, 40 years in service and they're still having to seal the nose bay with bodge tape, there's progress for ya

Wonder how much all that tape has cost over those 40 years.

Nice piccies BTW

Nice pics.

I last flew Gazelle ZB625 on Jul 17th 1984. Glad to see it's still going strong.

I'll have you know the bodge tape has become structural!!

It is an official bodge and has even appeared in paintings.

Only Betty's flying service would have such equipment.

Nice to see the flying transit again

Couldn't make it out at first as I left the red Gazelles at Shawbury in 1979!

Then I spotted the QQ logo - Phew! I thought I was going slightly Mercury!

I really like the Puma shot - light, bright, crisp and clear. Well done.

Weren't the registration numbers done wholly in Roman numerals when you flew them Shy?

Ex RAF QHI now a civilian QHI at Wallop. Those that have been around Wallop for a few hundred years will know P.E very well!

Yes, because crewmen couldn't read.
