I enjoyed the pictures, it's not yet-another-Mach-Loop-set but who cares, the night aspect makes them interesting
Did the jets leave Friday AM? I'm quite near Northolt, and heard a few noisy things flying past the following morning..

My intention was to post these photo's on here for the Aircrew to see at least some results from their aircraft that they bought in & also extend thanks to Northolt for hosting this excellent opportunity to take photo's of Military Aircraft in unusual lighting without crowd barriers in the way which is the usual case at air shows.
Fair enough you are entitled to your view & I respect that but please lets not have any unpleasantness.
I thought you were a photographer yourself which is why i asked you to "help"
Mods, if this thread is deemed inappropriate please feel free to remove.
Karl Drage has posted a brilliant article which is linked from earlier in the thread & his photo's are way better than mine as he has been doing shoots like this longer than me.
Regards Trev

Well I like 'em, they're better pictures than I could ever take.
Thanks for sharing 'em.
The only thing that struck me is that I bet the local residents would have been none too chuffed about the noise on departure of these chaps particularly the tonkas.

Dont you believe it Kreuger
Me and cameras dont mix. Lord knows how many pictures I've taken at events like the Festival Of Speed at Goodwood and stuff like that - although some of the static stuff is OK, either my skills at the composition of a shot or the cheap s**t cameras I tend to use dont deliver results as good as these. And in anything less than perfect daylight conditions (just got back from Florence where we went around some of the churches and the Duomo and the most of the internal shots look like they've been taken through a shroud) and I might as well not bother.
Never been much good at lighting. 'Spose it comes from 16 years as a scopie working in the dark.
I mean, granted, JMW Turner is hardly going to be spinning in his grave, but for what they are, these are nice shots.... praise where its due and all that.
And no, I dont have a clue what he'd do with them either

Im new to this PPrune thing but i think the photos are excellent whether they are as good as a professional photographers photos or not dosnt really matter Thanks for sharing them
Can I remind the original poster then he still has not re-sized the images down from 1024 wide. The maximum size permitted when originally posted was 800x600. Yes, it might be annoying to host images twice on your image hosting account or website, but those are the rules.
The PPRuNe image size has now been increased to 850 maximum width. 850 x 850 is now the maximum size permitted.

The same issue applies to the RAF Mildenhall thread
http://www.pprune.org/military-aircr...6-03-10-a.html
Most aircraft enthusiast forums have increased their image sizes up to 1024 and in some cases 1200 maximum width. PPRuNe has not, so as aircraft enthusiasts lets not be a hindrance or annoyance to the Mods by posting outsize images.
Thanks
