Melbourne F1GP Military flying

Melbourne F1GP flying this weekend, program at:
http://www.grandprix.com.au/site/_co...916-source.pdf

Aussie Hornet, Roulette, Blackhawks.

Anyone know the best vantage points, particularly for the Hornet? Does anyone know who is flying the Hornet? Mick B said 'Acko' in another thread. We've just said goodbye to the pig, could this be the last 1 seat Hornet display? Not long to go

If you are inside the circuit, then most parts of the track are pretty good with the exception of the city end of the circuit where a few trees get in the way.
I usually just pick a hill out the back of the circuit.

Outside the circuit I couldn't tell you, but I'd imagine the ovals at the St Kilda end of the track would be a good start.

On Sunday before the start of the race, the Beeb coverage here in the UK showed a Qantas A380 overflying in formation with the Roulette PC9's. Jake Humphrey was heard to say it was "full of passengers on their way to Los Angeles", which somehow I doubt!?

The full set of images is at:

Roulettes hanging out with an A380 to get a head craned skyward these day?

I doubt passengers on board.
