Makes me feel like the little girl who wants a pony but knows she'll never get one! Have a horrible feeling that that picture may be as close as we ever get at this rate

What a mess!!! Look at all those doors and flaps. How many actuators, hinges and micro switches does it take to do that? And how many can fail and the thing still go into the hover?
Bring back the Harrier!!

Harrier has had it's day IMHO.

However, in complete agreement with reference to how much to go wrong, and the fact it's pig ugly. I'd take the C version any day of the week.
