A400M alternatives?

"The Germans" as the largest customer of the A400M won´t pay more for the project. If the project fails, they should consider cheaper alternatives. 60 A400M is a little bit too much and the A400M is too big to replace the C-160 Transall fleet at all. The ideal aircraft for them would be the C-27J Spartan or a CASA C-295!

You posted the same thing yesterday.

If you have more to say, why not add to your original post?

Why do you think that such small aeroplanes as the C-27J or C-295 would be 'ideal'?
