Picture/painting

Hi
A friend of mine (who is now decease gave me an unsigned _Print by Geoffrey Lee of a 1 sqn Harrier entitled "LAST LAUNCH ON THE FALKLANDS".
I was informed by him at the time that this limited edition (500 )was for the approval of the relevant authorities and was given to him as he was the duty ATCO at the civil airfield near LONDON that was being used by the services at the time ???. What I want to know does anyone have any information on this picture/print as I can't find anything on the www or any other place.

Place you question at Aviation Art Portal, Forum and Directory at eHangar.com where the font of all aviation print knowledge hang out. You are more likely to get your answer there.

Stating the almost obvious, but if it is limited edition, it should be numbered XXX/500 and (I'm almost certain) signed by the artist.

If this print is not as above, then it is either a printers proof or a 'spare'...for the approval of the relevant authorities

Spelling the artist's name right would probably have helped you find more information (it's Lea).

Probably Dunsfold - can't think of any other airfield close to London with Harrier connections?
