Then there was "Must Refurbish Canberra Again". Re the daubing on the Fulcrum's tail - what was it all about?

It's a brand-new, two-seat Multi Role Combat Aircraft version of the MiG-29, initially aimed at Malaysia and combining the sensors and avionics package of the new Indian Navy MiG-29K (the Project 9-41 or -47, can't remember which, but not the original carrier variant designed for the Sov Navy, which was the 9-31) in a land-based airframe. This prototype has been converted from one of the MiG-29M prototypes (9-15)

Question

Jacko,

How do you attach pictures to your post like that? I tried in vain to do it (ooh-err) in another thread and just ended up swearing profusely at my PC.

Jacko,

Thanks for the reply - very informative, and honest about where there might be inaccuracies. You sure you're an Aviation Journalist?

Cheers,

Empire One:

Find the exact E-address of the picture (it must come from a website) and type it into your post where you want it to appear. Prefix it with the word img in square brackets - thus

Thanks for the compliments, you silver-tongued cavalier!

Hmmm, Mig-29 eh?

Well give two Ej-200 and a 1553 databus, plus an APG-68 (whatever!) and extend the airframe to have over a 3000 hr life and it might get somewhere
