Cool AWACS at Liverpool

Watched a Sentry doing ILS touch and gos here today. Not something we see every day over this way. Crew fancied a day out then? Stiil, it provided a talking point in the aircraft.

They were probably doing touch and gos because if they had stopped someone would have had the radios out of it.

Have you Seen the radios in a sentry? No self-respecting liverpudlian would bother to lift them ;-)

Did they chance putting the gear down? Or were they worried about the wheels getting nicked as well?

I'm suprised he got away with the 'Goodyears' still attached..... good show

Though I did hear that a couple of shell suits were found in the forward undercarriage bay bck at Waddo
