The sad thing is that in years to come, these will be known to as the good old days. Scary thought huh.
Don't dispare, all is well with life on the other side of the fence. And all those employers want from you , is for you to fly their airplanes.

I left the RAAF and joined RAF.
Contracted to fly front line aircraft [Tornado]
Left RAAF due to its inability to retain experience [too many foreigners joining and flying my aircraft] - what does that now make me!!
Good luck with the 'D' - At least the RAF offer permanent Spec Aircrew.
