Thumbs up Today's SAR

They will probably say they were only doing their job but someone needs to say "Well done" for the rescues today done in such appalling conditions and at no little risk to themselves. It's nice to know there are people like you still around.

Only seen the evening news, but it appears the Lossie crew conducted their gutsy job miles from land. Also 771 down here in Cornwall in action rescuing a shed load of people off a sinking ship.. .Both in pants weather. And I’m sure the other crews around the UK have been involved in similar stuff.

Well Done,

The SAR force does not get the recognition for the courage and professionalism it shows day in and day out. I am not (and frankly will never be, due to my sqn role) on a SAR squadron but I will always admire their exploits from afar.

Another top job by the SAR boys/girls, the weather looked punk but the filming was top quality! Much respect to all concerned and "hi" to Forbsey who I haven't seen in years, great to see flying suits on the BBC (although, once again the headlines were RAF SAR doing 2 rescues, they still haven't got the hang of the fact that the RN has got a/c). <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Agree with all so far. Having flown many times with captain of said (RAF) SAR cab, it's great to see the boys getting a bit of publicity for the job they do day in, day out. Just need to get myself back to the mighty Sea Queen now.....

Great job boys. True professionalism when half the crew composition feel mightily let down by recent events.

Now, let those in authority really show these guy's how much they are appreciated, as I suspect those rescued already have done.
