Unhappy

Ramp Monkey said: One didn't like the (Chinook) OCU and quit......

She has been offered Puma or civilian [1]which of course sets a precedent for every Male ALM who thinks that the CH47 is bollox!

Or does it??

Offered Puma's im not surprised the only way you can get anyone on the fleet these days is to either lie or take the drop outs . Is it not the most undermanned Type employing ALMs ? Benson Aldergrove Benson that eternal triangle mmm nice

Never happened in my day old boy. Can't see the problem with it. Lived through the 60 and 70s (some great wife swapping parties in Waddington if I recall).

Having read this thread:

Does nobody care about the empty kitchens all round the country?

Female's flying suits should really be white to match the other kitchen appliances!

The edit: By the way VulcanB1, what did you get for your wife? I got a set of bloody good german metric and AF sockets for mine, they're still working - more than can be said for her!

There are a whole host of girlies at JEFTS and DHFS of all flavours.

I sometimes wonder what happens to them all because at every unit there seem to be far less.

All the girlies I have been on sqns with have been excellent in trg and far more concientious than the chaps. Maybe one day one of them will stay in long enough to command a sqn.

Saying that isn't OC Puma OCF a girlie at the mo?

Do you know JP?

Puma OCF has a girlie boss, and 84 Sqn (all of it!) will have a girlie OC next year.

There`s only 2 gurlies going through BFT at Linton at the moment. Can we have some more please as the blokes have exhausted the women of York for the time being.

Well I for one have only praise for the girlie pilots I've had the fortune to work with. It's often a case of sour-grapes from the pilot brethern that makes them point to the gender of a pilot when they don't get their way. Face facts, we work in an male dominated aircrew enviroment, any bird that can put up with half the crap that gets flung their way (PR, sexism and no pee tube to use on a eight hour search) is already tougher than the average bloke.

Oh, and they're quite good in the kitchen.
