This is the place...

Had a mate on BFTS whose Dad did a spot of loan service with the SOAF. Apparently this sort of thing was Sunday lunchtime sport, often involving tight valleys in the jebel (oo-err). He had some cracking home movies - stirring stuff for a bunch of wannabes.

Never be allowed now though.....

Sweet work. And I'm spent!

Alas those days are now long gone in the RAF.

I think the Jags were just doing normal take offs and captured on film only 1.5nm from the end of the runway. Not bad eh?
The tanker is just off the edge of the photo.....
