Arrow Where can I get a large (ish) No1/5 without paying through the nose.

I recently had occasion to wear my No1 and was not too surprised to find that the fit was not exactly comfortable.
Does anyone know where there is an outlet for the more well rounded figure?

How large is large?
Email me if you want as I've got a spare large No1. It's spare because I'm now not as large as I was.
Failing that try Dewhurst the Butchers, sorry Tailors, at RAF Cranwell.

Lack of flying old bean. Herc drivers (et al) spend all their airborne time consuming the endless supplies of in-flight, thus:
No flying = no eating = No1s too big.

SS - But why on earth would you ever need to wear No1s?? Unless you've had to do an 'Axminster shuffle' on some Grande Fromage's carpet???

Try Snaiths at Halton / Cranwell went the other day arrived at 9 lunch in the mess and viola new No 5 by 2 just in time to get pissed at 7 at the Dining In Night. They were the cheapest and good quality , failing that give Midland Marquees a call !

Rely on the traditional method of giving your measurements to a mate that's currently an IOT flt cdr and get him to chop any cadet your size in week 12!

I found on the Internet a company that has just started trading old uniforms to help all of us who no longer fit into our current ones.

The web address is

www.used-uniforms.co.uk

Hope this helps some of you

I'm leaving soon and am possibly your size. However, I don't anticipate my No5s surviving my dining out next Friday!

A mate of mine knows someone who can - try www.fish4uniforms.co.uk (though the company is actually uniforms4sale (a branding issue)!
