Brazillian Airforce display last Sunday and one Very very lucky pilot

How the hell he got away with this is anyones guess, looks like someone up there was looking out for him, Incident starts at about the 1 minute mark.

I don't think that was "smoke" and I think I know which ring it blew from!! Phew!! I just can't believe that he flew away from that.... it must have taken hours to unclench him from the seat afterwards!!

I wish the last video had been 'beadwindowed'
I feel sure that someone in the MOD has just seen a way (and cheap) to 'crush' the Taliban, using stored RAF Tucano's

Pair of idiots! Obviously putting together a show with absolutely no safety gates at all. Shouldn't be allowed on bicycles, never mind aircraft!

They are part of the "Smoke Squadron", The Brazillian Airforce display team of world renown who were to have displayed last year at IAT, indeed they flew there Tucanos here from Brazil, no mean feat in itself, to fail at the last hurdle due to our weather. They are acclaimed as one of the best display teams in the world, hardly a couple of Idiots out to make a name for themselves.

Just shows things do go wrong and the smoke Squadron nearly became the Smoked one....

What we would refer to as a couple of idiots the Latins call cojones.

It's interesting though, when you read some of these comments, how people misinterpret things. Bounced? Ground effect? The second video of course shows a pretty neat recovery without any tricks like that.

Takes me back to the infamous Typhoon incident at Fairford where various "expert witnesses" virtually had the aircraft bouncing along the runway through a couple of tents!
