UAV kills Bin-Laden's son?
<US intelligence agencies were "80 to 85 per cent" certain Sa'ad bin Laden was dead, the official said, adding that he was not important enough to be targeted himself but was "in the wrong place at the wrong time".>
US drone 'killed Osama Bin Laden's son Sa'ad' - Telegraph
Now, don't get me wrong - if he was as suggested in the piece, he deserved it. But does it suggest a novel approach to RoE, or have I missed something?

I imagine many regular posters on this forum will be outraged by this latest story. Yet again a fatal error had be made in the use of the word 'drone' instead of UAV or UAS or whichever wording is their current favourite
'Drones of Doom' has something of a sinister ring to it....
All the terrorists will know is a faint hum in the distance, a flash of light, then a sudden realisation that there are no 72 virgins for them, just someone with horns, a pointy tail and a toasting fork.....

Although without getting into a theological debate on it, you can't substitute one myth for another Beags...
Agree with Navaleye. UAV's may not be the best tech advancement for the stick and rudder pilot, but for the warfighting aspect it takes some beating (bit like the TB )

Thought it was 67 Virgins as Bruce Sprinstein used to sing about 67 Virgins and nothing on, or was that channels.......
Below the Glidepath - not correcting
Great news if it was true, but this from the same intelligence agencies that have killed about 537 Al-Queda "Number 2's" since 2002. Remember - It's only propaganda when the other side does it.

MadMark!!!
Not much of a future to look forward to, if you happen to be a pure pretty young lady is it.
You spend years in some loony infested hell hole trying to do the right thing, and then one day god picks you to be raped by some hairy terrorist who got bullied at school!
