Detachment DVD's

I'll be going OOA in just over a week, I'm trying to decide which DVD's to take with me.

I have the ultimate dechachment film which has to be Happ Gilmore.
What more can I take and what is your det film of choice.

Dont say Chop Gun cause it is so gay.

As long as you don't bring, ahem. any 'detachment' DVD's back! 'Her indoors' won't like 'em and neither do HM Customs.

Ensure you take plenty of Principal Operating Reference Notices

For more publicly acceptable showings - Super Troopers and Boondock Saints great films.

As The Great Escape was also available on BFBS2 on 27th December, I did give everyone the option of The Dambusters on Xmas Day, but the concencus was for GE on Xmas Day

Detachment Songs.....

Slight thread drift here. At the time of the Falklands effort -DVD's didn't exist then! - the music (cassette) I associate with my 131 day "absence" was a John Denver song "I'm leaving on a Jet Plane".......

Seemed quite appropriate.....
