ASP - Spec aircrew vs career stream

Couple of questions....

1. Does anyone know what the details of the new ASP pay structure will be? i.e. How will aircrew pay be broken down and what will the amounts be?

2. How much less will spec aircrew be when compared to the above? From memory, they said it would be less, but not by how much...

Sorry,a bit out of the loop but are you asking about something specific to your service/country. I faced a similar dilema in the uk 4 years ago in the uk and, at that time, it was financially better to transfer from spec aircrew to professional aircrew, even if it shot your chancesfor promotion (slim as that was in some cases!).

Since the DFRT aren't expected to provide a report until 'mid 2009 - Review - ADF Aircrew and further information is only available via DRN - Australian Government, Department of Defence I'd be surprised if you'll get any answers here.

I'd look on the DRN - or ask an ADMINO, or, if you are not a serving member, try a recruitment office.
